Gemini 3.5
Gemini 3.5 Flash is official — and it's powering everything
Google officially unveiled Gemini 3.5 Flash today — the first model in the new 3.5 series. It surpasses 3.1 Pro in coding, agentic, and multimodal benchmarks at 4× the output speed of other frontier models, and is rolling out today in the Gemini app, Search, and the Gemini API.
Gemini 3.5 Pro — focused on advanced reasoning and coding — is in testing and arrives next month. Google also introduced Gemini Omni, which accepts image, audio, video, and text input and outputs editable video grounded in real-world knowledge.
"Google is no longer building a chatbot. Gemini 3.5 is the operating layer across every product Google ships."

AI Search
Google Search gets its biggest redesign in nearly 30 years
The search bar is changing for the first time in 25 years. Powered by Gemini 3.5 Flash, it's wider and smarter — designed to hold longer questions and help you formulate them. "Google Search is now AI Search," declared Liz Reid, VP Head of Search.
The redesign goes far deeper than a new bar. Google introduced Antigravity — a generative UI engine that builds dynamic, interactive layouts tailored to every question. No more lists of links: Search now builds custom experiences in real time.
🧩
Generative UI with Antigravity

📅
Weekend planner built in Search
Search reads your Gmail, Photos, and Calendar to build personalised plans with driving times, weather, and activities — updating dynamically as your calendar changes.
🏠
Agentic apartment hunting
Enter all your criteria and a Search agent continuously scans the web for apartments matching your preferences — available this summer for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Android XR
